Gorgeous NEPA Wedding Venues

Good morning everyone!

Last week we asked our followers what they wanted to see on the blog, and it was 50/50 between NEPA venues and intimate wedding tips (look for that next week!).

There are so many beautiful wedding venues in this area, and it’s hard to choose just a few! From bright and airy farmhouses, to a woodsy ceremony, here is five of our favorite venues in Northeast PA.

Stone Meadow Gardens

Located in Clarks Summit, PA, this venue has romantic botanical gardens, cozy interior decor, and a indoor ceremony space. You all know how I love the Plan B, so having a backup ceremony space really makes this planner stoked.

Stone Meadow Gardens is perfect for a summer or fall wedding, and is a great “blank space” for couples to add their own personal touches. There’s stone, brick, and large built in wooden bars. I could see this venue being rustic, boho, or industrial- it’s all on how you decorate it! However it’s decorated, it definitely has an intimate feel with those long farm tables and soft lighting.

The Farm at Cottrell Lake

Ah, the farm at cottrell lake. For sure a favorite venue of ours! They have options for an indoor or outdoor ceremony as well, and the outdoor garden ceremony area is just so romantic. It’s framed by tall trees, has picturesque mountains, and perfectly tended greenery. My definition of a perfect Pennsylvania wedding!

Their large red ceremony barn is perfect for receptions and dancing the night away! Built in bars, large open windows, farm tables, and always at the perfect temperature (no one wants sweaty makeup runs, am I right?).

I mean, c’mon.

Another perk of this venue is you get to work with the sweetest venue owners ever- Melissa & Brian are there for you every step of the way! They are so great at what they do. Just think of an amazing party you’ve been to at a gorgeous house, the hosts are so sweet and welcoming, and just make you feel right at home. It makes you feel excited to be there, right? That’s what I think of when I’m coordinating a wedding at Cottrell Lake, and I know every guest that has a wedding here feels the same.

And of course there’s the airy farmhouse that’s straight out of a magazine. It’s perfect, and everyone falls in love with it. Couples and bridal parties can stay here for the entire weekend, which is so convenient and relaxing!

All that to say- if you’re getting married at The Farm at Cottrell Lake, send us a message! We work tirelessly behind the scenes so you don’t have to worry about the timing of dinner, or who will set out your programs. We got you!

Lackawac Sanctuary

I truly think this is one of those hidden gems everyone has been looking for. Lackawac is the epitome of “dreamy woods wedding”, and I could envision the most amazing micro-wedding here. With so many diverse options on the open property, every wedding there is also supporting their mission to preserve and protect the sanctuary’s natural and historic beauty. There’s also lodging on site for couples to get ready in, or rent to stay there for the weekend!

Perfect for the nature lover, the soulful couple, or those who are trying to be eco-friendly on their wedding day. Receptions can be in the 1903 Watres Lodge, or in the historic carriage house (with antique oil lanterns !). We’re getting more and more weddings booked here so that couples can step back and truly embrace their big day, while we take care of the rest.

6th & River

I’m loving this restored warehouse and every thing it has to offer! Exposed brick, high ceilings, and large windows. You really walk in with a sense of grand timelessness. There’s a lot you can do in the 4,200 square feet, and there’s even an adjoined room that’s perfect for cocktail hour or a ceremony.

A gorgeous bridal suite overlooks the main reception floor, and it’s such a classy little space. Katherine, the owner, is so sweet and make the most gorgeous bouquets! You’ll be well taken care of at 6th & River, and have gorgeous photos to boot.
